Beautiful spot with lovely staff (much better than our previous stay). Rooms are tired and need improvement but did not affect our enjoyment in any way. Definitely recommend.

My Partner Liezel and I stayed at Housel Bay Hotel for 3 days in November.We were warmly greeted on arrival and our room had a lovely panoramic view of the bay and the headland. The room was a good size and had an excellent bed.The bathroom was adequate, but needed updating. We had two evening meals at the Hotel and three breakfasts. The quality of the food was excellent and the service was also very good. We had the three course festive menu one night which was delicious.We thought that the menu could have been a bit broader and it is unusal for a menu not to have any starters. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay at this beautiful Hotel. A big thank you to Ethan, Esme, Ben, Terry, Valerie, Phoebe ,Kirsten, the Chefs and the Housekeeping Team for making our stay so special and memorable. We will be back.

Uniquely beautiful location and outlook to the sea. Stunning scenery around the nearby south west coast path. Access to small rocky beach. Staff all superb, special mentions for the bright and friendly Molly. We lucked in with mid September weather. Food excellent, with a good selection of wine. A great 3 day stay, and expect to be back soon. K&S

I have stayed at Housel Bay Hotel many times since the 1980's, by myself, with family, and with my partner. I have always loved the friendliness of the hotel and of course its beautiful location. I returned in 2023 after not having visited for over a decade and, even though the hotel has been taken over from the original family owners and updated, it still retains its charm and I enjoyed being there the same as ever. Plan to go again in 2024. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.

We just stopped for a drink as we were visiting the bay. A pint of proper Cornish cider on the patio looking over the gardens and bay. Nice staff who even gave us dog biscuits. Sadly kitchen was closed ( a Monday afternoon so understandable) but menu looked good

Very nice hotel with a beautiful view! Best view you can get ! Breakfast and dinner like this are the best. Staff are always available and with a smile, nice breakfast full of good quality products, I recommend staying for dinner. Parking space available.

To be fair I think it was my favorite hotel stay in a while. View and location are absolutely amazing. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Food in the hotel restaurant just great, fantastic breakfasts included in the price. I really really enjoyed this Hotel. Extremely cosy. Thinking about booking another stay soon

Came here a few days ago for a drink to enjoy the view and ended up booking a table for my mother's birthday as the views are incredible. The service right from enquiring up until leaving after our meal was amazing. A special mention to Terry who went above and beyond to accommodate us, make us feel comfortable and welcome and ensure we had a lovely evening. Can't thank him enough for making our evening even better. The food arrived quickly, and was absolutely perfect. Given the service, views and quality, the prices are great. Would love to visit again before I head home, but if not I will definitely be back next year for another family meal.
